The Fall sports season is upon us! Here’s what’s been happening at The Mount…

FIELD HOCKEY:

The Mount field hockey team kicked off their season with two consecutive wins, defeating Plymouth Whitemarsh High School 8-3 on August 22 and Phoenixville High School 10-0 on August 26. The girls have been working diligently on offense, consistently attacking on corners and scoring successfully. The Magic were tested early with two games against Merion Mercy and Germantown Academy following Labor Day weekend.

“I’m looking forward to both games. Both of those games will be a really good game, and they’re back-to-back. So being able to take the first game one by one and then switch anything we want to do for the next game. I’m looking forward to it,” said head coach Kyra Castano.

Castano’s crystal ball was on point, as the Magic had two shutout back-to-back games, winning 9-0 against Merion Mercy on Sept. 4 and 9-0 against Germantown Academy the next day.
