“Futura Florential”, designed by Philadelphia Horticultural Society, is the entrance garden of the Philadelphia Flower Show. Its name, coming from Latin roots, with futurus meaning “the future” and florens meaning “blooming”, signifies the flourishing of the future and all of the possibilities that it holds. The flowers and water give the scene a sense of life while still being particularly and thoughtfully arranged. This signifies to the viewer that the thought we put into caring for the world around us can play into the creation of a more beautiful future.
