Anna and Layla share their go-to Starbucks drinks.

Anna Emma and Layla Giovanniello

In this series, we will be reviewing the various coffee/tea drinks that we spend way too much money on. This month, we have compiled a list of our absolute favorites that are also easy on our bank accounts from our go-to place: Starbucks.

Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Get this: Always

Venti price: $4.45

This sweet and creamy drink is a definite go-to any time of the year. At $4.45 for a Venti, it is one of Starbucks’ cheaper drinks. Starbucks’ smooth cold brew pairs perfectly with their vanilla sweet cream. It has the perfect amount of vanilla without being too sweet, but if you are craving something sweeter, try an extra splash of sweet cream for a special treat. Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth or who loves a good cold brew!

Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte

Get this:  When you’re not feeling caffeine

Venti price: $4.75

No matcha hate is welcome here. Whether you’re all caffeined out for the day or you just don’t like coffee, matcha is a great alternative to your normal coffee beverage. This refreshing, antioxidant-rich drink makes you feel healthy and won’t give you that gross post-coffee feeling. This drink has an earthy but sweet flavor that will leave you constantly craving more.

Iced Black Tea Lemonade

Get this: When you want something light

Venti price: $3.95

Like matcha, this refreshing drink won’t leave you feeling gross and/or bloated. It’s smooth but not creamy, so an iced black tea lemonade is the perfect option when you don’t want something heavy and filling.  This sweet beverage is a perfect mix of sugary and sour and is a great, cheap, year-round drink and definitely one of our favorite orders.
