Students travel from afar to Ocean City High School to watch the famous “Battle at the Beach” football match between La Salle College High School and Malvern Prep. Mount and La Salle students share their thoughts on this fan favorite Labor Day weekend tradition.
“It’s a great way to start off Labor Day weekend and It has been a tradition for my friends and I to go since freshman year. I love seeing other Mounties there and spending time with them” Charlotte McDaid ‘25 said.
“The team has been looking good this year. It was a blowout against Harrisburg, so I believe they can beat Malvern” Wyatt Steinman LSCHS ‘25 said.
“Seeing my friends and everyone from school coming to watch the game was my highlight,” Reagan Clouser ’27 said.
“I love going to the “Battle at the Beach” every year because I get a chance to see my friends out of school, and get to see other friends I don’t normally get to see,” Sara Burman ‘25 said.
