Whether its morning advisory, or you’re waiting in Fontbonne for a club meeting to begin, here are the top most-coveted snack/drink combos according to Mounties:
Kris’s Kombo:
Previously called, “King of Ma Wa” by several students, Kris Geraci, who runs our Ma Wa, shares his favorite food and drink combo. Kris prefers the fall special apple crisp muffin paired with a DIY frozen lemonade. He mixes the Tractor frozen strawberry dragon fruit slush with the Tractor frozen lemonade to create a “delicious slush combo”.
“Ma-Wa is very laid back and I like interacting with people, it is refreshing. People are also excited whenever they come in.”, said Kris when asked about working in Ma-Wa.
Pop-n-Pink Paradise
Maddie Dudley‘26 enjoys the red packaged kettle corn pop corners paired with the bottled Starbucks pink drink. Many Mounties agree that this bottled drink tastes exactly like the freshly made pink drink you would order in the store.
“The Popcorners are a really good snack during advisory that holds me over until lunch.” Maddie Dudley ’26 said.
Spicy Snaps and Strawberry Soda:
Gabby Bernauer ‘27 always goes for the “Oh Snap!” spicy pickle bites which are packaged in bags, many students say this snack is commonly seen at Wawa. Gabby cracks open a strawberry lemonade poppi to wash down the spice.
“Every time I bite into a spicy pickle I feel full and so lucky to have this snack choice here at my school,”Gabby Bernauer ‘27 said.

Bold Bites and Brews:
Alexa Durand ‘26 enjoys the can Starbucks nitro black coffee for a midday caffeine kick paired with the Lesser Evil, tik tok viral popcorn.
“I am really grateful we have the can coffee here because it helps me get through my day when I am really tired and it is easy. The popcorn is good when I am not super hungry, but I need a pick me up. I am so grateful Mount decided to make the Ma-Wa because there a lot of good choices,”Alexa Durand ’26 said.
Skinny-Girl Bubbles:
Nora Benamar ‘27 enjoys the frozen strawberry Tru Fruit from the freezer. This is a frozen strawberry covered with a thin layer of white chocolate then a layer of dark chocolate on the outside. Nora pairs this treat with a nice bottle of Diet Coke from the fridge.
“I love getting Tru Fru whether it is at lunch or after school or before sports because it is the perfect mix of a fruity but chocolaty snack and the many flavors they offer always leaves me happy with my choice.” Nora Benamar ’27 said.
LOVE Corn & LOVE Mount
Olivia Esbensen ‘27 loves drinking water from a Mount Stanley to wash down her favorite snack, Love Corn. This snack has been receiving a lot of attention throughout the community. A 4oz. bag of Love Corn cost $3.29 at Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting, whereas in Ma-Wa the same bag costs $7.50, a roughly 44% mark up. “I love the love corn, but the price markup is crazy,” Olivia Esbensen said.
“I got love corn last week because I wanted some popcorn and had never gotten it before, and it was alright, but after hearing about the inflation and price increase, I do not know if this was really worth the money because it wasn’t that good,” Sally Reilly ‘26 said.
