“I was not expecting the part at all! It was super late, and I was just sitting in bed. And, all of the sudden, my mom called me down and told me I got the part,” Alana Fabrey ‘28, who plays the role of Matilda said.
“It is a great story for all age groups and such a high energy production, the cast bond is great and it really shines through on stage, we have such an amazing time together,” Gabi Balaratna ‘26, who plays the role of Bruce, said. “We have been working really hard at rehearsal and this week we finally got to run through the show in costumes and we added the orchestra.”
“Matilda is a really beautiful story that has a really great message for all ages, we have put so much work into the score and the scenes,” Grace Balkowski ‘26, who plays Ms. Honey, said.
“The show is super exciting, it’s very heartwarming but it is also really funny. You can laugh and you can cry. It is overall a really good quality production, it is a step up. The show keeps moving, it is very energetic, there is never a blackout,” Cameron Holmes ‘25, who plays Mrs. Wormwood, said.
Keira McCarthy’26, who is a member of stage crew, said “Being a part of stage crew this year has been so much fun, it has gotten a little bit stressful now that we are getting close to the show but when we are just all painting sets together we have a really good time. It is a really funny show.”
