Mount alumna Mrs. Katie Sacchetta ’05 now works as the Director of Annual Giving at the Mount. During her time as a student, she learned the importance of “finding the yes.” The Mount helped her develop the ability to balance ambition with responsibility, managing a demanding schedule while still fully committing to school, family, friends, and sports. Today, the same mindset continues to shape her work as a member of the faculty. “When women approach one another with generosity and grace, we build an inclusive and thriving culture,” Mrs. Sacchetta ’05 said.

Mrs. Ellen Potter ‘90

Mount alumna Mrs. Ellen Potter ’90 now works as an Administrative Assistant and College Essay Editor at the Mount. While a student at the Mount, she recalls her teachers as kind and gentle, qualities she now strives to reflect in her own interactions with students. From her position at the Counseling Office front desk, she never knows who might walk in needing immediate support. Each day, she works to ensure that every student who arrives feels calm, safe, and welcomed. “I believe in women being supportive by acting as mentors, providing constructive guidance to allow women to forge their paths to success,” Mrs. Potter ’90 said.

Mrs. Nicole West ‘87

Mount alumna Mrs. Nicole West ’87 now works as the Executive Director of Mission and Inclusion at the Mount. The Mount mission has stayed with her from her time as a student through college and into her career in education. Whether she is working with students or collaborating with colleagues on projects that support the community, the idea of serving the dear neighbor has remained central to her life and values since her time at the Mount. “Don’t be afraid to try new things that interest you, and don’t be afraid to share your personality, knowledge, and opinions with others,” Mrs. West ’87 said.

Mrs. Lauren Hankins ‘98

Mount alumna Mrs. Lauren Hankins ’98 now works as the Assistant Athletic Director at the Mount. During her years as a student at the Mount, she says one of the most meaningful things she experienced was feeling heard and knowing that the faculty and staff genuinely cared about each student. She describes the Mount as a second home, and now works to provide that same sense of support for Mount student-athletes by creating a space where they feel comfortable, valued, and listened to. “You have to use your voice and stand up for yourself and your beliefs or you will risk being passed by or overshadowed by those that have more confidence to do so,” Mrs. Hankins ’98 said.

Mrs. Patricia Eakins ‘89

Mount alumna Mrs. Patricia Eakins ’89 now works as a Spanish teacher at the Mount. During her time at the Mount, she was deeply involved in Campus Ministry and community service, experiences that had a lasting impact on her. Now, as a member of the faculty, she continues to stay involved in liturgies, Unitas retreats, and service opportunities, hoping to give students the same formative experiences that were meaningful to her. “Attending the Mount showed me the power of an all-girls environment where young women are encouraged to lead, speak up, and take themselves seriously,” Mrs. Eakins ’89 said.

Mrs. Cindy Nicoletti ‘07

Mount alumna Mrs. Cindy Nicoletti ‘07 is currently teaching Chemistry at the Mount. During her four years at Mount, she discovered her love for science through her teachers, and now strives to ignite that same passion in her own students and guide them to reach their full potential. She was surrounded in an environment of women empowerment, where students were encouraged to share their ideas, goals, and passions. This experience helped her recognize her self-worth and build confidence, which continues to guide and empower her today. Now, she encourages young Mounties to support one another by offering encouragement, holding each other to high standards, and building up each other, not tearing each other down. She advises young Mounties to use your voice to speak up for beliefs and passions. “Sometimes we are quiet so that we can observe, but when the time is right to be loud, it will be important and impactful,” Mrs. Cindy Nicoletti ‘07 said.
