April showers bring May flowers, the weather is starting to warm up and as Mount students approach the season of summer and many are looking for places to buy stylish and trendy clothes.
South Moon Under is a coastal inspired clothing boutique that is known for its women’s clothing, swimwear, and accessories.
”My favorite store to shop at for summer clothing is South Moon Under. I really love their dressier clothes and bathing suits that they sell, and they are perfect for the beach and warm weather,” Abby Porter 27’ said.
Free People is a specialty women’s clothing and lifestyle brand known for its bohemian inspired fashion. It is part of the URBN brand portfolio, which also includes Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie.
“I really like Free People because of how comfortable and versatile their clothes are in the summer,” Amelia McElroy 27’ said.
Aritzia is a Canadian-based everyday luxury fashion retailer that was founded in 1984 and it offers high quality clothing.
“I like Aritzia because you can buy comfortable clothes, but also nice dressy clothes at the same time,” Kate Marsden 27’ said.
Cotton On is a major Australian fast-fashion brand known for its comfortable and casual women’s, men’s and children’s clothing.
“Cotton On because they have such good sweatwear but cute tank tops and short sleeves and they also have an active store,” Emily Penza 27’ said.
Whether students are going to the beach, hanging out with their friends, or staying active they enjoy shopping at these stores for summer basics. As temperatures rise, Mount students are ready to step into the season with confidence and style.
