Mounties kickoff Spirit Week by bringing icons to life.

Mounties step away from academics to embrace creativity and fun by dressing up as their favorite icon.

Spirit Week is a cherished week filled with fun, laughter, and service to kick off Day of Giving on Thursday March 19. This Monday, Mounties came to school dressed as their favorite icons from sports, to TV shows, to famous “vloggers”. This is a great way for Mounties to have a little fun in the middle of the academic year.

Brie Fay ‘26 and Kaitlyn Cockerham ‘26 said that they chose Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov because they love hockey.

Kaitlyn Cockerham ‘26 and Brie Fay ‘26 tapped into their sporty side by dressing up as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander from the TV show “Heated Rivalry.”

“I am Flashback Mary, aka James Charles,” Reagan Clouser ‘27 said.

Reagan Clouser ‘27 is dressed as James Charles who is a well-known makeup artist on YouTube.

“I chose to be Sue Sylvester with my Cheerios because I’m a Glee and I really like to embody Sue’s fierce personality,” Kate Dorrington ‘26 said.

Elle Kane ‘26, Kate Dorrington ‘26, Lily McMullin ‘26, and Lyla Cavallaro ‘26 are “Glee” fanatics. They are dressed as Sue Sylvester and her Cheerios.

“Annie is my icon because she’s a fearless redhead,” Emily Holmes ‘26 said.

“I dressed as Taylor Swift because this was the only shirt I had in my closet, and I made it like two years ago,” Alex Kovach ‘26 said.

Alex Kovach ‘26 is a Swiftie for life. She is dressed as Taylor Swift from the “You Belong With Me” music video.

“We chose them because they are a funny duo and so are we,” Belle Nicastro ‘26 said.

Grace O’Brien ‘26 and Belle Nicastro ‘26 are best friends who dressed as best friends from the movie “Napoleon Dynamite”.
