With “Mount” embroidered across the chest, the pastel mockneck sold out before the end of the school day. Students lined up, crowded the school store, and the merch disappeared even faster, which made it Mount’s most iconic drop.
“I feel like the pink doesn’t make much sense because it’s not one of the school colors. I like the white with purple lettering.“ Sofia Cabrera-Caro ‘27 said.
Months later, rumors of new colored mock necks were coming to the school store.
A white and grey mockneck with Mount’s signature purple lettering. The hype was immediate.

Students who missed the first drop of the pink mock necks were ready, then students who got the pink one wanted another.
“I wish they made more, especially since its the end of the school year and knowing they would be in high demand.” Tara Ciolko ‘27 said.
Even Alumnae from the previous weekend’s event were getting them when they could.

But on Monday morning, before 9:00 a.m., it happened again but worse, they were sold out. Completely.
The grey and purple mocknecks vanished quicker than the pink ones did. Unlike the first release, the second wave of pink mock necks didn’t have the same lettering material which students noticed instantly.
Chris, who runs checkout during the everyday chaos, said “There might be more mock necks coming but they may not be here till fall 2026”
There also was some news that might make students who didn’t get either of the mock necks, ready to get there faster and get them next drop.
”We’re really excited that League has just released a lilac and popcorn yellow version of the mock necks – they won’t arrive until June, but we are planning to order those with the white appliqué and matching stitch border to mix things up a bit for the next shipment.” Ms. Reilly & Ms. Meko ‘18, from the communications and marketing department, said.
For students who didn’t get their hands on that merch, it’s disappointing news. But if this year’s mocknecks proved anything, it’s that Mount students will definitely show up when the next drop hits.
