Alex Kovach ‘26 pins her Founders’ Day pin to her blazer. The day starts off with the class of ‘26 seniors adding their fourth and final Founders’ Day pin to their blazers. “I had such a fun Founders’ Day and I love the sisterhood and community that comes with it,” Alex Kovach ‘26 said. “My favorite part of the day was when me and a bunch of other girls were making bracelets and talking.”

“Futura Florential”, designed by Philadelphia Horticultural Society, is the entrance garden of the Philadelphia Flower Show. Its name, coming from Latin roots, with futurus meaning “the future” and florens meaning “blooming”, signifies the flourishing of the future and all of the possibilities that it holds. The flowers and water give the scene a sense of life while still being particularly and thoughtfully arranged. This signifies to the viewer that the thought we put into caring for the world around us can play into the creation of a more beautiful future.
