Whether she’s organizing plans with friends, leading on the lacrosse field, or spending time down the shore, Caroline Squillaro ‘27 has a way of bringing people together. Known for her kindness and outgoing personality, Caroline is someone who enjoys meeting new people and making those around her feel welcome.

Growing up with two older brothers, Caroline says she’s learned to be independent and brave from an early age, which are qualities that she carries with her both at home and at school.
“You have to learn to stand your ground,” Squillaro said. One of her brothers, Jake Squillaro, agreed, adding, “She’s learned to keep up with us and she’s not afraid to say anything.” This dynamic in her family has helped shape her into the confident person she is today.
That confidence is especially seen on the lacrosse field, where Caroline has been a JV captain for the past two years. Her leadership and positive attitude have made her a key part of the team.
“I love the team atmosphere and how competitive it gets,” Squillaro said. “It’s one of my favorite parts of the day.”
“Caroline’s the kind of teammate who keeps everyone motivated, even during tough practices,” teammate Charlotte Felix ‘27 said.
Outside of school, Caroline spends her time babysitting, where she takes on responsibility while building connections with the families she works with, especially during the summer.
“I like being someone little kids can look up to,” she said.
In the summer, Caroline can be found at her family’s condo in Margate, New Jersey. Whether she’s at the beach, along the boardwalk, or just spending time with friends, it’s still a place where her personality stands out just as much as it does at school.

“It’s where I feel most relaxed,” Squillaro said. “I love being able to just hang out and enjoy the summer.”
Friends say Caroline is often the one making plans, organizing get-togethers, and bringing people together which shows her social personality. This ability of bringing people together is something her family notices as well.
“She’s always making plans and bringing people together. That’s just who she is.” her mother, Jen Squillaro, said.
In addition to her leadership and social nature, Caroline also has a creative side. She loves to bedazzle everyday items, adding her own personal touch to whatever she’s working on.
“Once I start bedazzling something, I can’t stop-it kind of becomes a problem,” she joked.
From the classroom to the field to the shore, Caroline Squillaro continues to stand out, not just for what she does, but for the way she connects with the people around her.
