Julia Burdick uses the Starbucks mobile app to order ahead, adding a pep to her step as she walks through the halls with her Starbucks cup. She’s not alone, many Mounties also view their morning Starbucks as a ritual.
As the holidays roll in, so does Starbucks’ famous holiday menu, giving Starbucks lovers another reason to celebrate. From peppermint to sugar plum, Mounties really do welcome it all.

The Starbucks holiday menu launches in early November every year, this year the first part of the menu launched on Nov. 6, 2025. A second addition with new menu items and a new merchandise collaboration launched on Dec. 2, 2025. The second menu included their iconic eggnog latte, eggnog cold foam, and the chestnut praline latte.
The peppermint mocha is consistently one of the top-selling holiday drinks year round. Mounties love giving the peppermint syrup a twist as well in frappuccinos and hot chocolate.
Coffee lovers always love a good cold foam treat to top off their latte. The new holiday cold foams include the gingerbread cream cold foam, the peppermint chocolate cream cold foam, and the sugar cookie cream cold foam.
“I like the sugar cookie cream cold foam the best” Sophia Parker ‘29 said.
Mounties’ most favorite drink is the sugar cookie latte with almond milk. This sweet and buttery drink mixes blonde espresso with sugar cookie syrup and your choice of milk topped with red and green sprinkles.

“This drink really does put me in such a good and spiritual mood for Christmas” Alexa Durand ‘26 said.
“My favorite menu item is an iced almond milk sugar cookie latte with no red and green sprinkles. It has a certain smell and taste that brings me that Christmas nostalgia. The almond milk compliments the sugar cookie syrup in a way that brings spirit to my taste buds” Nora Benamar ‘27 said.

“I love the iced sugar cookie latte without sprinkles, it puts me in that warm christmassy mood.” Gabi Balaratna ‘26 said
Another syrup that the holiday menu welcomes is the gingerbread syrup. This is mainly used to create the famous gingerbread chai latte. Back to coffee, the caramel brûlée latte is also a big hit. With your choice of whip cream, cold foam, or no whip, this latte really enhances the caramel delight around christmas.
“I love gingerbread, cinnamon, and chai, so this gingerbread chai latte really combines all the flavors perfectly” Kelly McDonald ‘26 said.

“I wait every year for the caramel brûlée latte to come out. I order it even when the holiday menu is over, just to check if they have extra supplies.” Julia Burdick ‘26 said.
Over to the oven where many warm treats are baking as the cold weather passes. There is a warm cinnamon pull-apart which is a croissant with cinnamon sugar and streusel topped on, the cranberry bliss bar is a blondie cake with dried cranberries, cream cheese icing, and cranberry sprinkled, then the sugar plum cheese danish is a danish with cream cheese filling and a spiced sugar plum spread in the middle. Some simpler options would be the polar bear cake pops or the snowman cookie.
“Cake pops are my go-to, a classic, I love the birthday cake cake pop and I am really looking forward to the polar bear cake pop!” Kiera Doogan ‘26 said.
“I love cake pops and it’s even better when it’s Christmas time” Erin Romano ‘27 said.

“I know the sugar plum cheese danish is a little different, but do not knock it until you try it.” Lily Friel ‘26 said
This obsession isn’t just seasonal, Starbucks is always routine for the life of a Mountie.
