Day of Giving took place on March 19 bringing together SSJ sisters, students, and faculty. In the midst of a busy academic year this day brought fun and happiness to the Mount. The Mounties made memories bonding with each other, sisters, and their teachers.

“I loved Day of Giving because I got to show my students something that is really important to me,” Mr. G, English teacher said.

“I’ve always loved Mount traditions like the Day of Giving, as they give me the opportunity to connect with my class and celebrate being a part of the greater Mount community,” Grace Balkowski ‘26 said.

“Nothing beats a live performance,” JJ Miros ‘27 said.

“We treasure our relationships with them. Being with the Sisters brought joy and enthusiasm to the start of our day and reminded us how deeply their spirit and mission continue to inspire our community,” Ms. Kathleen Ochs, Religion teacher said.

“I really felt like everyone was so united and enjoying the performances together instead of individually,” Sarah Deitch ‘26 said.

“I had such a great time creating content for the Mount with Kathryn and getting to capture the fun of the day,” Chloe Conwell ‘28 said.

“I loved Day of Giving because I was hanging out with all my friends and I loved painting everyone’s face,” Gabby Clair ‘26 said.
